Airlines operating companies had honored the presidency of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, and its affiliates, to its active role in the viability of open skies during the events experienced by Yemen in the previous period.
At the beginning of the ceremony Dr .Mazen Ahmed Ghanem - General Director of Air Transport , had welcomed the representatives of the airline companies operating in our country, and all the attendance, from his side Mr. Wael al-Khalidi - the representative of the airlines operating companies in our country who had welcomed and appreciated the role of CAMA in overcoming all the difficulties and obstacles that faced all the operating companies in Yemen during that period ,and he had mentioned the level of confidence that Airlines companies had towards the Authority in the development of the aviation sector as well as the open skies policy in Yemen .
From his side, Mr. Hamid Ahmed Faraj – the Chairman of CAMA had pointed out during his speech that the working at airports in the Republic of Yemen is considered an integrative work between employees of the Commission and representatives of airline companies in order to provide better services to the traveling public and to serve the economic sector , tourism and all sectors in our country , and he confirmed providing all the facilities to ensure the functioning of the airlines and the continuity of their airlines operations in the Yemeni airspace in a very smooth way and according to the applicable security and safety standards in our country
